Omni
Directional Wireless Antennas - Access Point Antennas
Omni-directional
wireless antennas are used as access point antennas.
Wireless
LAN / WISP Omni antennas are totally enclosed in
radomes for both environmental protection and style.
These omni directional antennas are designed to
be ued as a hub antenna or Access Point Antenna
in a Point-to-Multipoint WLAN system. Omni Antennas
have a nominal VSWR of 1.5:1 and are less than 2:1
over the entire 2400-2500 MHz frequency band. Omnidirectional
gain ranges from 9.5 dBi down to 5 dBi. The 9.5
dBi design uses an elevated center-feed to produce
an elevation pattern with very little "squint"
or beam-tilt. The 7.5 dBi design uses an end-feed
to produce a downward beamtilt of approximately
4 degrees.
